A revamped website helped this mental health practice demonstrate the excellence it already practiced.
Diakonos Counseling is a Kansas City-based mental health service with an excellent reputation among clients and referring agents. However, its website was becoming dated and did not reflect the excellence the practice was known for. Our work revisited the entire website from top-to-bottom. We began by evaluating all of the wording of the original site. Although it was accurate and informative, some professional psychological terminology needed to be translated for lay people (clients). In addition to copy editing, some new information was added to provide a more comprehensive description of Diakonos’ services. Writing was also undertaken with a goal of providing search engines and clients the content they need to connect with Diakonos. A concise overview video was included to encapsulate the practice’s work. We appreciate the opportunity to serve a client who does life-changing work in our community.
